Abstract

Anthracycline antibiotics are an important group of widely used and highly eff ective antitumor drugs. However, the cardiotoxicity of anthracyclines included in the polychemotherapy regimens results in the development of cardiovascular diseases both in the early and late rehabilitation period. The article presents a clinical case demonstrating the long-term consequences of highdose  polychemotherapy with the onset of heart failure and coronary artery disease.
